Beef Stew with a Twist is a delicious consistency of facts, personal experience, business and pleasure all in regards to modern agriculture! You will find hardy cuts of Natural Corn Fed Beef shredded and seasoned with the truth regarding red meat and the effect it has on your physique. This base is complimented by life-sustaining vegetables reflecting the life of a modern farm family, interviews with local farmers and the battle they fight daily dispelling the many myths that often overshadow the integrity by which they work.

I want to personally invite you to sit down with me. Enjoy a warm, fresh batch of beef stew and stay long enough to know my heart and knit with me over a cup of coffee. Or, you may fancy a conversation with my husband, life-long beef and crop producer. I guarantee you will not be bored by rural tall tales or exaggerated “bumpkin talk”. We will, however,  share with you not only our personal experiences in the agriculture industry but also our years of education and leadership on numerous boards, partnerships and University programs.

Pull up to the table with an open mind. What you will read and see here just may change your entire outlook on Beef Stew.

Oh, and what’s the “twist” you might ask? It’s the beautifully woven wool and cotton that flows through my fingers as I knit with my best friends. We laugh, cry and pray for the people we are knitting for. Our cup of coffee includes prayer shawls for those fighting cancer, tiny baby hats for premature infants in the hospital and miscellaneous projects for loved ones including head wraps and neck warmers for my daughters and grand-daughters. It’s a joy that I would love to share with you!

Thanks for coming to our blog and please check back often!

Enjoying your site and your family. I worked on 200 acres in TX bailing hay. It’s hard work and in the wintertime, had to go out in freezing weather to feed the cows and one big bull. I work the wrong sweater one day, the bull charged me and just made it back over the fence. Fond memories…
